“Around the planet (La La La La La)” is that the debut single by German Eurodance band ATC (also referred to as slightly of Class). The song may be a cover of the Russian hit “Pesenka” by Ruki Vverh! and uses the song’s melody with additional English lyrics. Both songs feature the phrase “la la la la la” during a call and response format. The song is ATC’s most successful single, reaching the highest 20 in most countries where it had been released.

“Around the planet (La La La La La)” was released as ATC’s debut single from their debut album Planet enter 1999 in Europe, and in 2002 within the UKit had been produced and recorded by German producer Alex Christensen with its melody almost entirely supported “Pesenka”. the only reached favorite on the German Singles chart in 2000. It also reached favorites in Austria and Switzerland, and therefore the Top 20 in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Netherlands, Finland, France, Italy, Sweden, UK, Denmark, Poland, Romania, and Scotland. It peaked at 24 within the Irish Singles Chart.

The song peaked at number 28 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart; however, due to scant promotion for the album and a scarcity of touring within the US and Canada, follow-up singles did not make any impact in North America.

In 2002, the song was released for the primary time within the UK during a newly remixed version, peaking at number 15.
