Unlike malupascua, everyone knows of el nido. While we stayed right in the town area of el nido we would actually recommend to stay near either corong corong beach and las cabanas beach or to stay out. The cheapest access to el nido is only via puerto princesa. It’s definitely worth visiting el nido as the cliffs and islands are incredible but it’s good to know a few things before visiting! El nido is making great changes but trash on the islands still remains prevalent.
El nido resorts pangulasian island: I'm a beach gal and el nido has definitely better beaches. A van to el nido is about 600 pesos (~ 11 usd / 10 eur) and the ride takes about 7 hours, most likely including a food stop along the way.
Both el nido and port barton offer beautiful beaches and tropical islands that would fulfill anyone’s holiday dream. It may take around 5 hours to get there by bus from puerto princesa, but it’s definitely worth it! Some of you guys mention beaches in port barton are even more beauitiful than ei nido, plus it is less crowed in pb.
El nido is a philippine municipality on palawan island. Tell others about el nido and the need to protect its environs. The el nido miniloc resort is worth staying here for a few days at the end of a long trip to enjoy the amenities and relax before going home.
The thing is, getting to el nido is not all that simple. The archipelago of el nido is just so much larger and there is a lot more to see, compare to coron.
